Say hello to the most completely addicting snack…Addicting Baked Seasoned Ritz Crackers.
It’s just two days until Christmas Eve and these Ritz crackers are about to change your world.
Okay. Fine. That might be a little dramatic, but I think you get my point. These crackers, while they are very simple, are also very, very, very, good.
I hesitated to post this recipe, because, well, really all I’m doing is telling you how to butter and season Ritz crackers. This recipe is basically just all seasoned up Ritz crackers. At first I was a little embarrassed to share it, but you guys, these crackers are just the best, and too good not share. My family actually insisted! Software engineering viva questions pdf.

Addicting…as the recipe title states, plus they practically scream HOLIDAY SNACKING.
Think Chex Mix…with all of those delicious flavors and seasonings, but on a buttery Ritz cracker. Yes, Yes, YES. Trust me when I say these are addicting. Once you start, there really is no turning back. Fair warning, you will keep eating these until they are gone. I seriously advise you not to be alone with these crackers!
Just like everyone else who’s entertaining this holiday season, I too am on the hunt for recipes that are simple yet delicious. In my family, nothing can be too simple. Whenever I’m feeding the whole crew, I always go along with the saying, the simpler the better. My family likes their classic flavors and nothing fancy.
Enter these Ritz, which are basically the most un-fancy appetizer/snack ever.
Here’s the quick summery. Ritz crackers, with a generous amount of butter and seasonings, baked in the oven. You see? SIMPLE! There’s maybe ten minutes of prep time and the rest is all done in the oven. Serve these warm or at room temperature, either way they’ll be gone in no time.
I had these crackers sitting on my counter the other day and when the boys strolled on into my house in their usual five O’clock time slot. They ate the entire pan…while drinking tomorrow’s drink for my Christmas Drink Saturday post (it might be my favorite drink of the season, so don’t miss it). Probably due to the cracker’s saltiness, the boys literally could not stop eating them. Within ten minutes, they were all gone. Granted there was four of them, but still that was fast.
These are crunchy, extra buttery, salty, seasoned with plenty of spices, and finished with just a touch of sea salt (if salty is your thing). Again, think Chex Mix, but on a Ritz cracker, which I personally think is beyond amazing…
But then I really have a thing for Ritz Crackers (check out the Mac and Cheese recipe in my cookbook).
I’m excited to make these Ritz crackers again tomorrow, when the rest of my family arrives into town. Aka two of my brothers…that are not currently here, Creighton and Brendan, my cousins, and everyone’s boyfriends/girlfriends…there’s just too many names to type out. Once the whole family is here, all we need is a good dusting of snow to complete the full on “Gerard Family Christmas scene”.
Fingers crossed it comes on Christmas Eve!

Also, when I say “Gerard Family Christmas scene”, you should really just picture the Griswold’s. Honestly though…we’re probably worse. YIKES.
Still love each and every one of them though!
Curious, what are your family Christmases like? Are they loud, crazy, and chaotic like ours, or a bit more relaxed? Would love to know what traditions you guys have!
In the meantime, I’ll be creating a new tradition, serving these up tomorrow for everyone’s arrival…along with this Slow Cooker Ramen, these Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter Blondies, and some White Christmas Mojitos!
